Items (A)-(E) and (I) are subject to the provisions and minimum wage rates required by MGLc.149s 26 to 27F and included in the bid package. Bidders must be prequalified by Mass DOT Highway Division to receive bid documents. OSHA training is required. All materials and work shall conform to the Mass DOT Standard specifications for Highway and Bridges, latest edition with updates. Quantities shown on the bid sheets are approximate only and will be used for comparison of bids and to set the amount of bid deposit. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit equal to 5% of the total bid. This may be a certified check or bid bond, payable to The Town of Royalston. For items (A)-(F) and (I), the successful bidder shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after the bid opening without the Town’s prior consent.
